scenic/travel photography

Embark on a photographic adventure with me! For over 25 years, I've been capturing the world through my lens, from my time as a graduate at The Corcoran Gallery of Art in Photography to traveling the country as an assistant to renowned National Geographic photographer Richard Nowitz.

For the National Geographic, I shot some aerial photos that were used in a book about our nation's capital.

I have photographed travel destinations for Conde Nast and World Magazine

As a photojournalist for Greenpeace, I was responsible for photographing toxic environments for several ad campaigns.

Another assignment took me to the Badlands of South Dakota where I lived among the Lakota Sioux. While there I developed a series of photographs telling a story of these proud people, their rich culture and how the modern world has impacted their survival.

Love, Photography, and Shared Adventures:

Photography has always been a passion project for my wife. From the moment we met, I was captivated by the way she saw the world through her lens, capturing sunsets, nature's beauty, and all the little moments in between.

Together, we embarked on a photographic journey. I shared my technical expertise, and what a joy it's been to witness her artistic vision flourish. Now, the magic of lighting and composition elevates her photos to a whole new level.

The best part? It's become a shared passion. We relish exploring new places together, cameras in hand, capturing breathtaking shots and creating lasting memories.

Traveling the world with a camera in hand is a way to truly connect with the soul of a place. From capturing the majestic sweep of a mountain range bathed in golden light to the quiet beauty of a dew-kissed flower, photography allows you to freeze these moments in time, not just as souvenirs, but as stories waiting to be told. The world becomes your canvas, and every sunrise, bustling street market, or hidden waterfall presents a unique opportunity to capture the essence of a place and share it with others.
